I made it to Quito, safe and sound. I actually feel pretty good, after 20 hrs of travel. I already met another traveller on te way in and am about to go have drinks with her. Her name is Lauren, and she is from (big shock) Australia. :)
The cab ride getting here was pretty cool. between his very little English & my un poco Espaniol, we actually had a conversation. It was really fun. I love figuring out conversations in spanish. It was a great start that gives me much hope on how much spanish I'm going to come home speaking, and I'm VERY excited to learn it. :D
Quick check-in and I'm off for a few drinks.
